Border Spring warms the hearts of people in Ganh Hao border area, Ca Mau
Ca Mau - "Border Spring warms the hearts of villagers" and "Border and Island Spring - Tet imbued with military-civilian affection" programs are organized at Ganh Hao Border Guard Station.
On January 25, at Ganh Hao Border Guard Station, the Command of the Border Guard of Ca Mau province organized the program "Border Spring warms people's hearts" associated with "Border and Island Spring - Tet imbued with military-civilian affection" in 2026.

Attending the program were Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Pham Minh Giang - Political Commissar of Ca Mau Provincial Border Guard Command; along with representatives of local authorities, sponsors, philanthropists and more than 300 people living in the sea border area managed by Ganh Hao Border Guard Station.
The program "Border Spring warms people's hearts" is a major policy, with profound socio-political and humanistic significance, launched and unifiedly implemented nationwide by the Border Guard Command since 2016. After nearly 10 years of implementation, the program has become an annual activity, creating a spreading effect throughout the force and has been recognized and highly appreciated by local Party committees, authorities, and people.
In Ca Mau, Border Guard stations maintain a disciplined and effective program, associated with social security work and building a people's border defense posture, contributing to caring for the lives of people in coastal border areas and strengthening military-civilian solidarity.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Pham Minh Giang - Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of Ca Mau province said that this year's Border Spring activities continue to be organized according to the motto of practicality, efficiency, and targeted people. According to the plan, the Provincial Border Guard Command will present over 1,700 gifts, and mobilize the construction of 4 houses for people in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of over 2 billion VND.
Within the framework of the program at Ganh Hao Border Guard Station, the Organizing Committee implemented many cultural and social activities such as wrapping banh tet, folk games, art performances, and "0 VND" booths.
At the same time, the program awarded over 650 gifts, with a total value of about 350 million VND to policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances; awarded scholarships to 11 poor students overcoming difficulties and 4 children in the "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations" Program; organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for more than 150 policy families and people in difficult circumstances in the area.
