On behalf of the Party, State and People of China, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping warmly congratulated the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on its successful conclusion; congratulated Comrade Su Lin on being elected as General Secretary of the new Central Committee of the Party.

Happy to share the particularly important results of the 14th Congress, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the Congress has fulfilled its great historical responsibility, deeply summarized the reality of the Vietnamese revolution after 40 years of Doi Moi, set out major goals and directions, not only for the next 5-year term, but also identified strategic orientations for the future and destiny of the Vietnamese nation in the new era of development.

Tổng Bí thư Tô Lâm khẳng định Việt Nam luôn coi trọng cao và ưu tiên hàng đầu phát triển quan hệ với Trung Quốc. Tổng Bí thư đề nghị hai bên cùng nhau đưa tin cậy chính trị lên tầm cao mới để dẫn dắt toàn diện các lĩnh vực hợp tác, tiếp tục tăng cường trao đổi cấp cao thường xuyên, linh hoạt; phát huy vai trò trụ cột của các lĩnh vực trọng yếu: ngoại giao, quốc phòng, công an; thúc đẩy tạo đột phá, chuyển biến rõ nét trong các lĩnh vực hợp tác thực chất.

Tổng Bí thư Tô Lâm đề nghị Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tập Cận Bình quan tâm chỉ đạo mở rộng nhập khẩu hàng hóa, nhất là nông thủy sản của Việt Nam; hai bên dành ưu tiên cao nhất cho hợp tác đường sắt, tăng cường hợp tác đầu tư chất lượng cao gắn với chuyển giao công nghệ và đào tạo nhân lực; thúc đẩy hợp tác khoa học công nghệ trở thành điểm sáng mới.

General Secretary and President Xi Jinping affirmed that China is ready to work with the Party and State of Vietnam to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future with strategic significance to a new height according to the "6 more" orientation.

Agreeing with the assessments of the international and regional situation and measures to promote relations between the two Parties and two countries that General Secretary To Lam mentioned, Comrade Xi Jinping affirmed that China is ready to cooperate with Vietnam to strengthen high-level exchanges, exchanges, and learn experiences in Party management and national governance; well organize the mechanism of the Steering Committee for bilateral cooperation and cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, defense, and police; affirmed that China is ready to import high-quality agricultural products from Vietnam and continue to encourage Chinese businesses to invest and do business in Vietnam.

Based on the positive progress in railway cooperation between the two countries, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping affirmed that China is ready to strengthen exchanges in the mechanism of the China-Vietnam Railway Cooperation Joint Committee, bringing railway cooperation between the two countries to substantive progress.

To strengthen the social foundation, the root of Vietnam-China friendship, Comrade Xi Jinping wished the two sides to do well in youth exchange activities, local cooperation and press information; affirmed that China is ready to support Vietnam in building the Vietnamese Communist Party Museum.

The two sides agreed to maintain exchanges and close coordination at multilateral forums; better control and manage disagreements.
