Vietnam - Laos: Une relation "unique en son genre" dans les relations internationales

Chiều ngày 26.1, tại Nhà Quốc hội, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn đã hội kiến Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Lào Thongloun Sisoulith nhân dịp sang thăm cấp Nhà nước đến Việt Nam.

Tại cuộc hội kiến, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn nhiệt liệt chào mừng Tổng Bí thư Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng Nhân dân cách mạng (NDCM) Lào, Chủ tịch nước Lào Thongloun Sisoulith cùng Đoàn đại biểu cấp cao Đảng và Nhà nước Lào sang thăm cấp Nhà nước Việt Nam.

Chủ tịch Quốc hội nhấn mạnh chuyến thăm cấp Nhà nước của đồng chí Thongloun Sisoulith có ý nghĩa hết sức quan trọng, diễn ra trong bối cảnh Đại hội lần thứ XIV của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam (CSVN) và Đại hội lần thứ XII của Đảng NDCM Lào vừa được tổ chức thành công tốt đẹp, đánh dấu những bước ngoặt quan trọng trong tiến trình phát triển của mỗi nước.

Chủ tịch Quốc hội khẳng định, thành công của Đại hội mỗi nước là minh chứng sinh động cho sự lãnh đạo đúng đắn của hai Đảng; qua đó tạo nền tảng chính trị vững chắc để hai nước tiếp tục tăng cường hợp tác toàn diện Việt Nam - Lào, mối quan hệ “có một không hai” trong quan hệ quốc tế.

Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn thay mặt Quốc hội và nhân dân Việt Nam chúc mừng đồng chí Thongloun Sisoulith tiếp tục được Đảng, Nhà nước Lào tín nhiệm bầu giữ chức Tổng Bí thư Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng NDCM Lào.

The National Assembly Chairwoman expressed her pleasure at the outstanding progress in economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, an important pillar of the great friendship and special solidarity between the two countries; in which bilateral trade turnover in 2025 reached nearly 3 billion USD, an increase of about 32.7% compared to 2024.

Regarding cooperation between the two legislative bodies, the National Assembly Chairwoman proposed that the two legislative bodies continue to strengthen close coordination at regional and international parliamentary forums. The National Assembly of Vietnam will continue to strengthen high-level delegation exchanges, share legislative experience, supervision, and cooperation; closely coordinate to remove difficulties and expand new areas of cooperation such as digital economy, green energy transition, infrastructure connection, education and training, in line with the orientation after the XII Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the XIV Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Chủ tịch Quốc hội nhấn mạnh, trong bối cảnh tình hình thế giới và khu vực diễn biến phức tạp, vai trò của Quốc hội ngày càng được khẳng định trong việc thể chế hóa đường lối của Đảng thành pháp luật, giám sát tối cao và quyết định các vấn đề quan trọng của đất nước, đại diện cho ý chí và quyền làm chủ của nhân dân.

General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith expressed his pleasure to be the first foreign leader to pay a state visit to Vietnam immediately after the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam was successful.

Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith highly agreed with the exchanges and proposals of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on strengthening cooperation between the two National Assemblies. Comrade expressed his wish that the National Assemblies of the two countries continue to promote cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of legislation, supreme supervision, especially the implementation of bilateral economic cooperation agreements, especially key cooperation projects.

In the next 5 years, the National Assemblies of the two countries will strengthen coordination to effectively implement the resolutions of the two Parties, bringing the parliamentary cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Laos to develop more and more deeply and substantively.

Comrade affirmed that the Lao National Assembly will continue to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese National Assembly in exchanging experiences, improving the effectiveness of parliamentary activities and strengthening supervision of the implementation of signed high-level cooperation agreements.
